Project Background
With rising electricity prices and increasing demand for stable power supply, many factories are seeking efficient energy management solutions to reduce operational costs.
A manufacturing company in Southeast Asia contacted us to implement an energy storage system that could help optimize electricity usage and lower peak demand charges.
Customer Requirements
The customer had the following key requirements:
- Reduce electricity costs during peak hours
- Improve power stability for production equipment
- Store excess energy for later use
- Reliable and long-lasting battery system
- Easy integration with existing power infrastructure
Our Solution
Based on the project requirements, we provided a 100kWh LiFePO4 commercial energy storage system.
The system includes:
- High-performance LiFePO4 battery modules
- Intelligent Battery Management System (BMS)
- Integrated energy management system (EMS)
- Modular design for flexible capacity expansion
Key advantages:
- Long cycle life of over 6000 cycles
- High efficiency and stable output
- Real-time monitoring and system protection
- Support for peak shaving and load shifting
Installation and Application
The battery system was installed on-site and connected to the factory’s power distribution system.
The system operates in the following modes:
- Peak Shaving: Discharges during high electricity price periods
- Load Shifting: Stores energy during off-peak hours
- Backup Power: Provides emergency power when needed
Results
After the system was deployed, the factory achieved:
- Significant reduction in electricity costs
- Lower peak demand charges
- Improved power stability for production lines
- Reduced dependence on the grid during peak hours
- Increased overall energy efficiency
